Ch. Mars Hill Scuttle Buttin'
Stevie Ray was our first home-bred Champion. We bred, trained, and handled Stevie Ray to his Championship. What a thrill it was to have this wonderful boy in the ring! He loved the show ring, and he loved every person and dog he met. And most of all, he loved his family. Stevie Ray was a therapy dog, working with children and adolescents with behavioral health issues. We lost our beloved boy in July of 2008, and miss him every day. Godspeed, my sweet Stevie Ray, til we meet again.
Mars Hill Intrepid Angel
Angel was my first in many things. She was my first Therapy dog. At the tender age of 4 months, she stayed with me throughout my recovery from surgery, never leaving my side. She kept depression at bay during my several weeks of bedrest, for who can be depressed with a bulldog puppy curled up beside them? We turned that gift into a way to help the children I worked with, and she became my first Delta Society Pet Partner AAT dog. She was my first show dog, taking winners bitch and best of opposite sex at her very first show. Her greatest accomplishment in the ring was a Bred-by-Exhibitor Group 1 placement. Her greatest accomplishment in life was loving with all her heart. She gave me two champions in her only two offspring, Sassy and Parker. Angel was my heart, and I miss her.
Cedartown's Bulldog Pride
Pride was the mascot of Cedartown High School. He was a great dog, and a great mascot. He was loved and cared for by his live-in family, the Hoggs. Pride always remembered his first mama (me). Every time I visited him at school, he went into puppy mode and made everyone laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.
